Kathy and I made the quick drive down to Victoria, and managed to get a little behind the scenes peek at some of the local dogs and their owners being selected to appear on stage!
I'm sure the dogs all felt the excitement in the air...
I won't give away any details about the show...I don't want to spoil anything for those of you who haven't seen it yet :)
But...I will let you know about the "must-have" item that all the ladies here were rushing the sales table for. The Cesar Millan Live - Canada Tour HOODIE! I already love mine...perfect for training class!
It was such an amazing evening - we laughed, we cheered and laughed some more! It was definitely the most entertaining "seminar" I've ever been to....thanks Cesar!

my friends are heading to see him in Ottawa... they are totally excited.
Just caught Cesar's Ottawa show last night...It was fantastic! What can I say; from the moment I first saw him on Nat.Geo. a couple of years ago, I was so struck by all of the beliefs of my own (regarding how to share your life with a dog) that he reflected. Amazing, very spiritual person.
My only regret: I wasn't able to stay after the show and purchase a Canadian Tour hoodie. Hopefully they'll be available on his website at some point...
Hi Penny - you missed a great show! It was totally inspiring and hilarious at the same time. They even played the South Park bit during intermission ..... "tsst!" and there were parts that made us cry - including the tribute to Daddy.
Hi Anonymous - it's so nice to hear you totally enjoyed it! I wonder if he can feel the positive energy of the crowd projected back to him? I'm sure he must!
I've never used 'treats' for training, and laughed so hard when that came up in his show!
Let's hope the hoodies will be offered on his site, they should be aware how popular they are by now :)
Hi Chris,
Yes, the show was fantastic! Highly entertaining, and what a great message he was conveying. I must admit that I didn't realize until the day after the show that the Ont. gov't had banned Junior from coming to the show because he is a pit bull. Ah, the logic of the powers that be...
My biggest personal chuckle came when Cesar stated that most dogs in North America owned more than two toys. Considering that an hour before my sister and I headed out to the show, I was busy picking up all of my dog's stuffed toys and putting them away in her 'toybox'...well, I did have to laugh at myself over that one.
P.S. I absolutely loved Cesar's impersonation of the cat who ruled the household!
