Nice sunny skies yesterday made for the perfect Fall afternoon at our local Farm Market with Sugar :) 

Jasper's Agility Adventures

We're so happy to share exciting news about Jasper! His wonderful Mom and Dad, Judy and Randy, have been doing a great job with him in Agility and competed in their first trial last weekend!

They're doing awesome, and the fact that Jasper is the first dog they've ever trained is remarkable!

You can see why his registered name is "Kel-Lani's Jumpin' Jasper"

Victoria City Kennel Club Show News!

What an exciting weekend it was for us at the Victoria City Kennel Club! This was Teddy's first show, and Aimee's second show weekend with Kathy. Teddy did us proud and was awarded Winners Male and Best Puppy in Breed on Saturday, earning 2 points towards his Championship, handled by our friend Adriana Sisco.

Then it was his Mommy's turn in the ring - moving superbly and showing like a dream with my daughter Kathy, Aimee thrilled us all by winning Winners Female, Best of Winners, Best of Breed over Specials, then ended the day winning Group 2nd for a big 5 point win!

Teddy and I go back to school

This week Teddy started his training to learn how to be a show dog! He's 11 months old now, and soon realized this wasn't another puppy kindergarten class ("no playtime with the other doggies in the center of the ring Mom?")

And I realized I need to practice walking in a straight line - LOL

Our Little Teddy Bear Is Growing Up!

"Teddy", our Aimee and Koivu son, is becoming a gorgeous youngster! At 7 months old and 14 inches, he's fulfilling the promise he showed as a baby. He started puppy classes this Fall, and is quickly learning basic obedience as well as fetch and seek, and doing beautiful recalls! He loves everybody, and reacts to different situations like a little pro - always eager to meet new people and play with new dogs.

"Teddy Bear" has the sweetest expression, and the personality to match! He'll leap into your arms in a heartbeat and is an absolute joy to live with!  His coat is growing beautifully, his structure is exquisite, and his head is simply wonderful!  We couldn't ask for anything more! 

Sugar & Teddy's weekend visit

Kathy and I had a wonderful time last weekend visiting with our friend Adriana. Aimee and Holly (Adriana's Sheltie) are good buddies now and we also took two of Aimee's puppies, Sugar and Teddy to visit.

How fast an afternoon goes by while enjoying good company, delicious cake, fruits dipped in chocolate and other nummies & drinks while watching Holly and Aimee play in the lovely yard. The puppies joined in on the fun and had a blast too!

Sugar is such a perfect name for her, as this little girl couldn't be sweeter!

Bobby and PJ at 10 weeks

Can you believe it - Aimee's puppies are already 10 weeks old!  Where has the time gone?

It was nice and sunny yesterday, so we thought it was a great time for Bobby and PJ's new photos.

First up, supermodel (and supercoaty) Bobby...

yawn!

PJ loved having his picture taken too, but our older camera is starting to give us problems, and I know we missed some really good shots!  Definitely time for a new one.

PJ is available to a companion/performance home as he has a bit too much white for the show ring.

Meet Aimee & Koivu's puppies

Our little darlings posed (sort of) for their photos at 5-1/2 weeks of age! They're becoming even more adorable as they grow up with such wonderful personalities! They also have gorgeous heads & bodies (they all have amazing structure) chunky bone and more fur than you can imagine!

After so many boys in the house, we're already spoiling her!

Small and compact, he struts around like a wind-up toy!

 "PJ" is the smallest one of the group - small but mighty!

He's the little explorer, always first to jump out of their bed.

 "Bobby" - the first born and Aimee's favorite.

He's also a love-bug and cuddler!

Our Aimee & Koivu puppies are here!  Four beautiful babies arrived on Saturday - 3 boys and 1 girl!  Here's a quick peek in the nursery...

It was hard to get a really sharp photo with the lower light, but it gives you an idea of what the little sweeties look like at 4 days old. They're plump and sassy, and Aimee's such a wonderful Mommy, so attentive and loving - we couldn't ask for anything more!
